Plot: In bustling late-1940s Cuba, Chico, a talented but struggling piano-playing dreamer, discovers Rita, the beautiful jazz vocalist of an after-hours Havana club. Indeed, this is love at first sight; however--as the two idealists share the same irresistible attraction for both music and stardom--more and more, Chico and Rita's passionate love affair resembles a bittersweet journey to absolute bliss and, inevitably, heartbreak. Are the star-crossed lovers meant to be together?
