The Vow (2012)

Plot: Self-made recording studio manager Leo is happily married to society-deserted Paige Thornton, a petty modern sculptor. A car crash leaves her in a five years coma, from which she awakes with grave, indefinite amnesia. Leo takes her back home with angelic patience, despite her ignorantly treating him almost as a stranger, neglecting his business, while she even forgot about her 'art' and daily tastes. Her domineering parents Bill and Rita Thornton keep luring her back to their stately mansion and possibly law school for a career only they dream about, even bringing back her 'suitable' college fiance Jeremy, who enjoys the challenge, but also finds her changed. Leo puts her happiness before everything, but will his unwavering love triumph?

Alternative Plot: Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum) are happily married newlyweds, but their idyllic life together suddenly shatters when a car accident leaves her in a coma. When Paige awakes, she has severe memory loss and doesn't know Leo. She also has a confusing relationship with her parents (Sam Neill, Jessica Lange) and still harbors feelings for a former fiance (Scott Speedman). Despite these difficult obstacles, Leo is determined to renew their bond and rebuild their marriage.
