Plot: A young businessman who lands a community service sentence falls in with a group of misfit kids who need mentoring. With the help of a pro instructor, he works to get the kids ready for a big underground dance competition.
Alternative Plot: Sean Lewis is a young, successful businessman in Long Beach, Calif. He becomes involved with the Bad Boys, a group of disheveled misfits who want to dance but have trouble busting a move. Realizing he's in above his head trying to teach these youths to dance, Sean brings in a professional instructor, who helps give the Bad Boys skill and confidence. Meanwhile, Sean finds himself falling in love with Sara, the director of the community center where the young dancers practice their moves.
