Plot: In high hopes of spending a peaceful weekend, the French college students and best friends, Marie and Alexia, head to Alexia's parents' secluded cottage to study, unbeknownst to them that a deranged and utterly sadistic killer is prowling the area, slashing innocent victims for his perverse pleasure. Before long, the mysterious murderer breaks into the dark farmhouse in the dead of night, and a brutal massacre, where no one is spared, ensues. Now, with helpless Alexia as the madman's hostage, the mayhem's sole survivor, Marie, finds herself trapped in a sinister cat-and-mouse game, trying to do everything in her power to save her friend; however, is this the end of the nightmare?
