Von Ryan's Express (1965)

Col. Ryan of the US army's shot down in Italy and taken to a prison camp. He's to lead prisoners on an escape. But not all the soldiers are begins him at first, due to mistakes, he's made. It's up to Ryan to win the support of the mainly British soldiers who's lives he's trying to help saver.
