Plot: William Kamkuamb was born in the country of Malawi, in Africa. When he was fourteen years old, a terrible drought hit the village where he lived. People had nothing to eat and drink. Being an excellent student and very fond of physics, the guy decides to save his native village from starvation. In the library he finds scientific books on physics. He studied the books and the guy got an idea to build a wind generator..
Alternative Plot: A 13-year-old boy is thrown out of the school he loves when his family can no longer afford the fees. He sneaks into the library and learns how to build a windmill to save his village from a famine.
