Plot: High school stud Kyle dreams of a rock star career as singer of his amateur band, but his strict father cares only for his poor grades. He's the thoughtful new boyfriend of fickle Lola, who broke up with last year's lover over a social media mishap. Her airhead mother only sets bad examples, and hides being an item again with her divorced father Allen, already green with jealousy, while falling in love with sexy police detective James after another conviction for driving offenses. Lola doesn't give Kyle a chance to explain his apparent fling with the class slut Ashley is a prank out of control from her own thoughtless 'best friend' Emily, so she tries to seduce nicest classmate Jeremy, who wisely sticks to honor and virginity, even at a party that get wild at Lola's place as her grandma falls asleep drunk after flirting with the handsome boys. The comedy of errors moves on class trip to 'Paris', although stuck at guest families in the petty suburban 'banlieu'.
Alternative Plot: In a world where connections via Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks are the norm, high-school student Lola (Miley Cyrus) is trying to navigate her way through the usual teen pressures of romance, friendship and overprotective parents (Demi Moore, Thomas Jane). Broken-hearted by a break-up with her boyfriend, Lola's world turns upside-down when she realizes that her best friend, Kyle (Douglas Booth), could actually be the love of her life.
