Plot: A local group of volunteers led by Osso (Luigi Lo Cascio, 'The Ties') wants to save the river from overfishing and defend it from the Florians, a family on the run from the Danube region who are plundering the river’s fish stocks and flouting fishing laws. With the Florians is Elia (Alessandro Borghi, 'The Eight Mountains'), a man born and raised in the Delta, who once was part of the local community but now finds himself on the opposite side of the conflict.
Overwhelmed by a thirst for vengeance, the two men will face each other amidst the fog of the Delta. As their struggle intensifies, they will come to discover their true natures in a duel where nobody ends up a hero.
