Plot: Placed in a brutal all-women prison somewhere in the impenetrable jungles of the Philippines, the social-climber, Terry, finds herself imprisoned after a fateful encounter with the tough-as-nails revolutionary, Blossom, and her rebel boyfriend, Django. Now, trapped in the infernal labour camp of the sadistic warden, Zappa, Terry and the rest of the unfortunate inmates must endure daily humiliation, torture, and back-breaking work at the dangerous wooden mill known as the Big Bird Cage. Can the doomed women break their shackles and escape a fate worse than death?
Alternative Plot: Women rebel against slave labor in a filthy jungle prison where they feed sugar cane to a mechanical maw.
